what sort of coverage are we talking?
are they running correct speed ie heavy 1,2 etc
    both machines running latest firmware?
get an internal test print to check density is equal on both machines- thses are just the starting points

machine is running at correct speed i.e plain paper...have tried other paper types....firmware is latest.....density seems fine....coverage ranges from approx 6 % to 80%...machine will run fine 1 day then start peeling toner the next...this is 2nd machine to same client.....1st machine warrentied for same fault......

When this image problem occurs, what kind of print does this problem occur on 6% or 80%? Usually on some occasions high density copies will peel. What about drum life? If the adjustments for fusing don't make a difference and replacing the fixing unit did not fix it i would start looking eslewhere. Are they any E-codes pertaining to the fuser ass'y. If you have fusing problems relating to low heat or over heating you would definitely have E-codes. I'm guess the outlet is fine as you stated. Do they have a power surge plug with the machine? My observation on this matter is also high density usage.

have you done a martindale on the mains?
had a weird problem on a machine years ago - transpired no earth on mains so machine 'spiked' itself

with weird faults always make me go back to basic.

            latest frimware i have is sys90.3 v3

is it running that - nothing on dealernet....

Power may be an issue, there are devices to hang on the same line the copier is on, and it will track all sorts of power issues. I believe ours was a Fluke device. Used a laptop to read the data out of the monitor. It just seems like it must be along those lines,,, not likely that two copiers of same model would exhibit this strange behavior without some outside cause.

Are they using Canon toner? Does it peel near the edges or the center or all over? Make sure down sequence is not turned on. This machine has shutters in the fixing assembly that allow cooling fans to cool the ends of the film...maybe software glitch...clear all the ram...but you say another did same thing...toner, power or enviroment
