    canon ir3300 hdd format

    Hello All
    I am having a hard time formatting a new hard drive
    for my canon ir3300. i keep getting an error message when I try
    to format the drive.


    can anybody help?????

        what cable r u using to format the hard drive ??? also you have to make sure that you have the latest ver.. of format or it wont work either.. is this a canon hdd or from another vender ??? If all that is good do format by itself not in batch mode...

          I've got the drive formatted
          can you maybe help me with which order I do the format in
          BOOT, HDFORMAT, LANGUAGE, RUI, AND SYSTEM
          I think I got lucky. Your advice helped

              The order of file writing should not be an issue, unless there is a need to have the boot rom up to a certain value in able to further up grade the machine. If order is important to you this is my suggestion after format:
              Boot
              System
              Language
              RUI

              The way I did it was to perform HDFormat, then use the ALL-HDF batch file to load the rest of the goodies.

                Hi all fellows members,

                There is no more headache anymore in this HDD formatting and inserting software issues,

                such as SST version problems , HDD type Problems , Wasting money and time on all this setups...

                Do it easily with a Japanese HDD Cloning machine newly found in the market.Canon all IR and IRC models

                I just bought 1 myself ans it cleared all my headache once and for all.....

                  Can you put contains of HDD data to a CF mem and let the machine boot on CF mem ? I can.

                      Please apply logic. Your printer boot ROM don't fail easily, it is flash mem, while as CF mem is their grand son. Search manufacture spac your self for answer. Some manufacturer put a lifetime warranty toy in market ?
                      As I mentioned, positive suggestion is encouraged. See dog eat die cat altitude is hated by those really in needs.

                        dear ymmtech , please post with proper words, dog tiu mati kucing? please.... nobody is interested in you using a CF to boot.... i can i can i can <---- showing off? please....we dont show off by replacing grandsons and grandson as boot rom is just another pasar malam item....u want how many ? i'm just suggesting of some device that can ease of works and save time...
