E677 is a PDL board mounting error.

Not sure about e677-5802, but E677-001 asks you to check if the printer board is connected correctly. If not correct the connection. If that doesn't work replace the printer board and if that doesn't work replace the main controller pcb.

Since you just formatted your system recently it could be a help if you report on the numbers you have in service mode just to make sure you uploaded system software properly. Go to Copier > Display > Version.

MN-CONT, PS/PCL (if networked), BOOT-ROM (should have an N at the end if networked), RUI (if networked) and LANG-EN (if using english) or LANG-FR (if using French). You should have numbers for DC-CON, R-CON, NIB (if networked) etc.

Your error could have come from installing the wrong software. If you have a NIC in the machine you must also have a N Boot ROM and use Networked system software. If you have a C Boot ROM you must install ordinary Copier system software.
