The box on back is called a imagepass C1 or C2. In order to veiw network settings you have to hit the printer tab that's on the control panel LCD. Then hit the tab in the middle which should say printer status, after that hit functions tab at the bottom. In order to change network configurations you must scroll to run setup. If I was you I would print out a configuration page. Hit print pages then you should see configuration page.

If you hit the printer tab and the message wait a moment or check power or check connections is posted turn down everything and reboot and hope for the best. It should come to a idle state in a mintue or less, if not then there is a problem with the imagepass. Good luck.

You may now get the opportunity to reload the system software on the C1. The system software might have gotten scrambled when the power event occurred, or worse yet, the hard drive may have crapped out. I would try the system reload first and hope for the best

Try unplugging the power from the imagepass and the copier...unplug it after you turn the power switches off. Plug everything back in turn it them on and wait....i've seen it take over 5 minutes to come to idle. Otherwise reload the rip software
