    Scanner 6570

Hoe can I scan with IR6570? On the control panel, don't appear the scan optino, only appear this options: "copy" - "mail box" - "express copy" and "share scan op".

You can scan provided you have the necessary accessories. For pull scanning using Canon Network ScanGear Tool you need the print kit. If you want push scanning you will need the Universal Send kit as well.

What do you see when you press "share scan op"?

Do you see Online and Offline. If so you can use Canon Network ScanGear. Google it, download it and read the instructions in the manual included with the software.

Check the User Manuals for the IR6570 for more information.

Take a look at page 1-17 (45) of the User's Guide pdf http://ww2.canon.it/supporto/manuali...6570_UG_EN.pdf

Do you see the Scan button. If so you have a network kit installed.

Do you see a Send button. If so you have a universal send kit installed.

Make sure you press the right arrow to see extra options.

If you see neither of these buttons then you don't have either kit installed. You will need to purchase a Network Multi-PDL Printer Unit.

Edit: Share Scan op could be referring to eCopy Share Scan. I don't know how it works. I'd wait and see if someone else posts or google search for more info.

Hi, thanks fo information, but I can't see the scan button, or the send button. I installed the network scangear, and when I press scan, appear "scan offline". I didn't get some information about ecopy, and I think the machine needs the other kit. How can I see what is kit installled????

Check the counter check button and hit device configuration at the bottom and check to to see if you have printer kit installed, UFR, PCL, PS.
