    Ir 5070

    I have a code 841-001 anyone have an answer.

      check to see if there is any paper jammed up inside the connectors on the back of the fuser draw. im not sure exactly what the error code is because i never worked on a 5070 but i do work on similar machines and it should be something with the fuser. so check for paper in connectors, if thats not it make sure all your sensor flags move freely. hope this helps

          I've heard SL1 can cause that. It's located on the front of drawer 1 to the left of the sep/trans assembly.
          Is the glass half full or half empty? I say neither. The glass is obviously full, full of potential. The potential to hold more water or the potential to quench a thirst. Life is all about how you see it.

              20YRSEXP is correct, I had this happen when the iR5570/6570 came out.
              Also make sure the inlet guide moves freely,
              It has been found that by replacing SL1 (FK2-0841-000) can resolve the E841 code.
