    E733 on ir105

Hi . I just trying my luck on every chances that i have to get an answer or clue on the e733 that appeared on ir105 machine. Yesterday i just mess up with ir105 that after i borrowed and swap back the DC Controller PCB from other ir105 machine it appear e733 code (before i borrowed, its working normally). Inside service mode * 2+8 * all the column dissapear just COPIER column (suppose to have FEEDER SORTER FAX etc). Under COPIER all the setting gone show none and zero at DISPLAY I/O ADJUST FUNCTION etc. Is there anyway to set back all the function? Thank you for going through my problem.

Check that you reinstalled it properly. You could try formatting hdd and reinstalling system software using sst.

You may have to start replacing parts if you can't get it to work. In future don't swap Main or DC Controller PCB's or stuff like that between machines. It's not a good idea.

Inside service manual it ask to replace the DC controller PCB but even we change the new DC controller PCB will it be operate normally? i tried 2 times of formating the hardisk and download the system files using SST but it still the same thing happen show e733 after it appear "wait" for 2 minutes.

This the shocking problem i never encounter before. Will never borrow the DC controller PCB to test on other machines

Print off a service label (if you can). Try clearing the RAM on DC Controller PCB. Should be something like Copier > Function > Clear > DC-CON. Re-enter settings indicated or check the Service Manual for what settings you need to re-enter after trying this. If this fails replacing the DC Controller PCB could be your only option. When you do this Clear RAM on DC Controller PCB and re-enter settings.

Edit: I don't think you can print off service label, or at least not one that will be of use. Replace DC Controller PCB. Hope this works. Hope you haven't bricked your copier. This is serious. I don't know what else to try to fix this problem.

Check the Power supply and the voltage of the power at the wall as well according to a quick search of other threads. There can be a reason why communication doesn't happen properly between DC and Main Controller PCB apart from bad connection or DC Controller faulty.

check the cable comming from the IP board which goes to the MFC(where you plug your network cable) ,behind the machine. I had same problems before, the cabe was not seated properly

Just to inform that the ir105 machine is done with the e733 code before. May be the cables doesnt plug in properly so i reseated the wiring between ip board and main controller PCB, and also reseated all the wiring at main controller PCB and DC control PCB.

                Thanks Bnmand and David

SM said all the settings were made before shipment. we can change and re-enter the setting of DC control PCB after print off the service label and clearing the RAM. But it doesnt say that how to re-enter the setting. Can anyone share opinion. Thanks
