i got a same problem before when i put in the new touch screen for GP605. I heard my friend said there is a setting for the touch screen alignment inside the service mode but i forgot where is it. You may play with it.

In other case the wiring between the touch screen and the board must connected properly, u might need to double check because i encountered this problem before the touch screen mulfunction.

The flat cable that connect between the touch screen and the small board that located just below the touch screen. (sorry im not sure what the board call). Turn Up side down the whole control panel and u will see the white flat cable and make sure it inserted fully.

pilot: do what jiongpao said, thats what i usually do, other than the touch screen i had no problems with the panel of the 605.if you tighten the screws too much the touch screen wont work. just turn the screw driver till you feel pressure is required, stop there.
