IR 3300 fax problem

Hi,

One of my clients has Ir 3300 with fax.The fax is working good(both incoming and outgoing).
Now,he wants to send fax from the computer.Is it possible to do so in the IR 3300 machine or it needs the 2220i machine to perform the operation.

Please suggest.

I believe you can. The copier needs to be networked. If it isn't get a Network Multi-PDL Printer Kit C1 and install it. You can get the fax driver from the canon website. see Canon U.S.A: Support

I presume installation instructions come with the driver.

Yes when you use the self-extracting zip archive, there will be a readme document that says under overview:

"This fax driver allows you to send a fax from any Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003/
Vista/Windows Server 2008 application to a remote fax machine if your machine contains an
optional fax board."
