    Trying to adjust stackbypass IRC3220

I am trying to adjust the stack bypass on a irc3220..

    I am in service mode...
    then went to adjust

    then cst-

    which gives me this options
    MF-A4R
    MF-A6R
    MF-A4

So this are the paper sizes, I am trying to fix it so that I can use 11 x17, 12X18, letter, letter R, LGL, etc..

I get different numbers in the options as I move the slide guides..

Do I need to adjust the A4R, A6R, A4 as guiding points or am I supposed to adjust the papers I need and chance the A4R etc...

canon sent me a guy yesterday, but it only worked while he was here.. after he left and after an error, we had to reset the printer and the slide guide was all messed up..

thanks for the help and tips

This error can occur if the Side Guides on the Stack Bypass Tray need adjustment. Use the following procedure to adjust the Side Guides of the Stack Bypass:

    1) Go to COPIER>FUNCTION>CST in Service Mode

    2) Set the Side Guides of the Stack Bypass to A4R position.

    3) Select MF-A4R on the screen and press the OK button.

    4) Set the Side Guides of the Stack Bypass to A6R position.

    5) Select MF-A6R on the screen and press the OK button.

    6) Set the Side Guides of the Stack Bypass to A4 position.

    7) Select MF-A4 on the screen and press the OK button.

Also, Under Additional Functions> Common Setting> Stack Bypass Standard Setting. Check that the setting is set to off. If set to on only the specified paper size will feed.

But check the door specs for COPIER>ADJUST>CST-ADJ>MF-A4R, MF-A6R, MF-A4 By resetting the door specs and power cycling the machine, the machine will then be able to recognize the correct proper sizes.
