canon smb scanning folder and email settings

My dealership has recently taken on the CANON line and I need some info from seasoned CANON TECHS AS TO WHAT IS INVOLVED IN SETTING UP SCAN TO FOLDER AND EMAIL . Please be a specific as possible as I am not up to speed on this product. I have expertise in RICOH and KYOCERA. DO CANON DO GMAIL SCANNING?

If you have done this with other brands, its the same thing.
First make sure that the universal send feature is installed. On most models these days, this feature is standard.
If your dealership is picking up a canon line, then it would be wise to send
    their techs to training.

My suggestion till you get to your schooling, is to pick up the users manuals on these products, and start reading. Lots of information in them, if your dealership is a certified one, you can go onto the Canon website and get access to lots of guides that have to do with setting up the more advanced features of these products.
