    irc3220 wont print..just keeps procesing..

Hi again. I am having trouble with my irc3220 again !! It wont print..! If I send a test page in either UFR or PS3 the printer just keeps displaying Processing.. or wating to print..

I can make copies but it wont print.. The green light on the front(process/data) just keeps flashing, I have unplugged the copier for a few hours and I get the same thing.. I dont get any kind of errors..

Any ideas ? I just fresh re-installed the drivers and everything.. but still cant make it print...

    Thanks again !!

Does it have a C1 rip or a Canon board?
Did it recently have a C1 rip removed?

No, no c1. Idont know if it has some kind of canon board. I don't have any rip software for it, but it does print with the PS3 driver. It was working fine yesterday at night..

Ok...well does it only happen on one particular file or file type?
I know that there's an issue with older PS3 drivers stalling on .pdf files being sent from Adobe 9.

            What size are these files?
If it was working last night then it should be working.
Did you check system monitor under print tab and clear out any exsiting
jobs that might prevent print jobs from printing out?

Do you have any accessories connected to the 3220 (finisher, punch unit)
if so , check them make sure the finisher has staples.

Last resort would be is to flash firmware 3220N, but verify what canon controller you have installed on the 3220. Hit the counter check button, under device configuration this should tell you what type of canon controller is installed. another way to verify if you reloaded the correct firmware and boot. Check if Service Mode>Copier>Version>PS/PCL is displayed with a version if there is a blank area where the version would normally be displayed then you did not flashed the 3220N firmware and the bootrom should be v6.06.

            Goodluck.
