    Canon GP200 Drum Reset

When installing a new Drum in a Canon GP200, is a drum reset needed? If so what is the procedure?

    Thanks

nope - no reset - good idea to change transfer roller at same time to extend life of drum though

After installing the new drum, you should go through the copy quality adjustment sequence. Put the copier in Service Mode, go to Functions, start with Shading Auto Correction #3, #4, #5, and finish up after 600PWM Auto Density #6. It would be a good idea to clean the optics before shading correction, as well as the dust proof glass over the drum. After that, the copies should be as good as the copier is capable of making them.
