      a simple software can help you avoid this problem:HD COPY proffessional.
      with this software,you don't care HD's brand and capacity. you just need a normal IR2270 hd too.
      I seldom use the SST to recover the hd.

          maybe,it's not based on windows dos . it starts from cdrom automaticaly.
