Canon IR 3300 Receiving Fax Manually

I have a Canon IR 3300 that telephone line is shared with live callers. I have changed the rings from 2 to 5 so we can determine if it is a fax or live call. Is there a way to send the line back to the copier if it is a fax?

Agree. Then if you get a call to the phone line used for ordinary telephone calls you can transfer it to the fax using the extension for the fax.

If you are doing very low volume faxing I can understand why you wouldn't want a dedicated line.

If you have a phone system setup where the fax has an extension you should be able to transfer to it from your phone.
