Reposting this for dcpoeo coz I'm a nice fellah

    IR C3200 will not print

Have a Canon IR C3200 that had a ImagePass C1 controller on it. We removed the C1 controller and reconfigured the copier to not use the C1 controller in the Technician mode. COPIER --> OPTIONS --> INT-FACE, changed the setting from 3 to 0 to reconfigure the communication interface.

After doing this the PRINTER tab goes away and you can configure the network configuration under ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS.

Set up the copier with a fixed IP address, set the port to RAW and configure the Gateway and DNS for the network. Power Down the copier and can now PING and access the RemoteUI via a web browser.

Looks like everything is working, but when you try to PRINT to the C3200, the PROCESSING DATA light never comes on and any document printed to the copier fails.

I've tried multiple drivers, PCL and PS3, all fail. I've gone through the Network Configuration section with a fine tooth come and nothing works.

The copier was just working with the ImagePass C1 controller, so the NIC board works fine.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? There must be something that needs to be configured differently.

Are you still using the same driver that you were using when you were printing via the rip?
If so you'll need to use a stand alone driver and delete the 1RENE~ driver from the server.
D/L the correct iRC3200 drivers from the Canon site.
The C1 driver and the stand alone 3200 drivers are different.

You would need to installed a Canon controller printer kit.
Why did you removed the C1 imagepass?
