Replace Toner iR2022

I have iR 2022 asking to replace toner all the time.

Action done step by step:

1. Checked Bias contacts
2. Replace Dev. Unit
3. Replace HVT power supply
4. Replace Main power supply
5. Replace DC control
6. Replace IP Board
7. Replace Ribbon cable from DC Con to HVT
8. Update firmware

After all test done, i'm in same senario. So please if anyone have better solution can advance???

Sorry, I'm not familiar with this model. Does this have a toner hopper like the Ir 5570s? I had a 5570 with a broken gear in the hopper ass. that prevented toner from getting to the dev ass.

does this machine keep running ??? like it is trying to add toner or just keep asking for toner???

2. Yes, it is trying to add toner then ask to replace the toner.

Sounds like a faulty toner sensor to me.

As I mention before, the DV unit have been replaced and the toner sensor is on DV.

have you jiged the front door and watched the toner bottle spinning it sounds like something wrong with that to me(toner bottle drive asm) .. you have replaced most everything else...does it ever stop say add toner or is it always there???

What does the sensor function test say?

Disassemble & Reassemble the unit the problem is gone, I don't know what it was wrong, but, thank you for the effort given to get solution.

does it shows an error code?

1. check the develop unit ,if there is poor contact.
2. HV pcb error. try to adjust the adjustable resistances on the HV pcb. or replace HV pcb
