    Lines in iR8500

My 8500 which has run around 15 mil is showing intermittent lines , see attached copy. I replaced the cleaning blade, problem comes after 1000 copies. Replaced toner , cleaned the drum unit, cleaned cd unit. The magnetic roller looks fine. Still the problem repeats every 2000 copies or less.
    Any suggestions?

If you haven't stopped the page prior to the fixing assembly then I would and make sure it is not offsetting from the heat roller. The press roller bearings can have trouble and cause a similar line. If it is definately from the image formation it might need a new AP kit. At 15 million you could be looking at a lot of things, but I would check those two things first. It's tough to tell, do the lines go edge to edge (no void edge)? If so follow what I said and get back to me.
Is the glass half full or half empty? I say neither. The glass is obviously full, full of potential. The potential to hold more water or the potential to quench a thirst. Life is all about how you see it.

Check the recipricating arm that drives the cleaning blade back and forth. If it is not moving toner will pile up and cause lines like that.

I'll double what Kopyrtech said. The reciprocating disk and the piece that rides on it wear down. A cheap easy fix to try before you go pay for the whole cleaning assembly.

The reciprocating disk was the culprit, problem resolved machine running fine .
              Thanks guys.
