Canon ir 5055 unix printing to all trays

hello there,

can anyone tell me if there is a way to make unix send prints to tray 2 and 3 ....ive got a an ir 5055 printing using unix and the prints are only coming out of tray 1...and tired everything to my knowledge and could not get it to print from any other other tray...is this a unix thing?
