configure iR2025i for e-mail sending

Hello All,

Can someone please help me to setup my ir2025i to be able to send scanned docs to email?

I've searcehd this info in user guide but i am not able to get the info. So far i've configured the IP, Gateway and DNS adresses... I think that i should somehow set the email account from which it will send the messages.. but i don't know how.

Go to system settings,network setting,scroll down to last page, you should see EMAIL\IFAX. This is where you would set it up.

Just add your SMTP info give the machine a Email address, of course you would have to set up a account on your SMTP server for the machine, user name and password. Forget about pop, as we should know this is to receive email. Other option for scanning is, scan to file.

thx a lot , i did manage to set up the smtp account and it works.
now i have another problem with scanning resolution.
if i want to scan for a fine res like 400x400 it doesn't let me choose the pdf format. i want to scan color mode, 400x400 , txt+photo to a pdf file format. it keeps telling me that res for this format is not proper and it os choosing tiff or jpg and reduce automatically the res.

how can i fix this ?

For my IR3300i, I did key all smtp email... But there is no place give me key use name and password? Is it my machine problem?
