IR3300 jams at drum every time

I removed drum unit but did not notice any problem unless there are supposed to be separator fingers which I don't see. Just little wheels. No experience on this series and told customer it might be drum unit but not sure so i didn't charge. Any info you can give is appreciated. Frank

Is the drum guard swinging up out of the way when you raise the transport section? Is the fuser entry guide clipped in properly and going to the right position as you lift the transport section?

Check the contacts of the static discharge brush on the transfer assy. Had 1 where the contacts in the back broke off from opening the bed up & down so there was no seperation bias. Not a fun job as I recall.

Also, post jam codes if you don't get to resolve it.

          Good luck.

            jams

Check lower cleaning roller in fixing assembly, could be built up with toner and have a flat spot binding lower fixing rollers

I called customer yesterday morning to arrange to go back and she said she already had someone there after me who took care of problem. I asked what the guy did and she said she didn't know as he did not tell her. Thank you for your help. I am sorry I did not get to use it. Frank
