Closing temperature means when the thermoswitch will close or connect again. I have been told it is usually will close back at appx. 180C after opening at 240C

I've never seen one reset on its own. You can whack it face down on a table to "reset" it if you don't have one with you, but I would only use that as a temporary fix.
Also, make sure you resolve the actual problem that caused it to go before leaving the machine with a potentially damaged thermal fuse. It could cause a fuser meltdown and/or fire.

it doen't back close you have to put it in the freezer then knock it down to the floor to make it closed again but i whould replace thermistor first.

I would not advise using it again...

After an overtemp fuse/switch has actuated, you can not be assured that it will operate properly again if it is closed, opening at the proper rise in temperature. When these open, replace them with a new one.

Also, if you have a thermoswitch issue, the machine will shut off. The fuser unit will over heat, it will produce an over current thus blow out or damage the machine. Just replace it, its cheaper than buying a power supply or DC controller. When it comes to thermoswitches i wouldn't play around.
