    e000067-0100 on canon ir3100cn

    dear all,

that machine is killing me slowly... but surely...

it started showing me that error e000067-0100. according to the service manual i shoud turn off and on the machine and it 'could' help.
'Code Detail code Nature Description Remedy Remarks
E067 high-voltage-related error, 0100 The current measured of the primary transfer ATVC is faulty 2 times in succession. Turn off and then on the main power. 0110 The computed voltage of the primary transfer ATVC is faulty 2 times in succession.
Turn off and then on the main power.'

    until now i've tried everything!
i've cleaned the two sensors above the drum unit (the one measuring the potential of the drum and the one for the ITB, replaced the drum unit itself and replaced the whole transfer unit... and still nothing!!!!!!!!!!

    please help!!!!

Verify the drum. It is probably near 100%. Change the drum within clear drum life, if error don't come back, it's good. Make CREAR DRUM LIFE after.

      change the drum potential sensor

when you tried all else it always is this sensor

its housed above the drum have to remove the td assembly to get to it though two screws and replace

fault will go away then have had loads do this

Thank you folks for all your help!

I have replaced the drum unit, transfer belt, and both sensors above the drum and.... NOTHING!!!

But, silly me , I didn't even consider checking the PCB at the back! I've solved the problem today - the wire on the transformer on the PCB was broken and since i've reattatched it the machine works perfectly!!! The PCB's number is FG3-3584.

              Anyway, thanks a lot again!

P.S. At least now I know the machine upside down after putting it all apart so many tmes...
