iR 1018 unable to distinguishe part

Hy fellow tech. I have problem locating the proper part from Parts catalog.

Problem is that drum cartridge was full of waste toner and drum jammed.

I cant find part that is inside machine that drive the drum but only the drum. On the left side of drum cart u have a small triangle connected to drum and when u close the door, gear inside machine snaps on that small triangle and drive it.

Problem is that i cant locate that gear inside the machine via Parts C.!

Please help

Hello,

1018 parts catalogue fig 102 parts 5, 7, & 17.

It is a collar mechanism that springs into to drum to drive it.

It can also be a pig to repair as you have to take the back of the machine apart to get to it.

Extreme BIG gratitude mjarbar! otherwise would be calling canon tech support and look like dum* a*s. One question : how did u ever find it? I was probably looking at it but slipped it, lol.

THX again, now i need to survive at least one month till i get the part
