i did a head swap on this printer now i get an error code E02802 and the printer will not accept new head any info anybody? in the service mode history there are alot 040000 codes as well. thanks!

When you change the printhead in these printers, there are other parts to change as well or the printer will not accept the new printhead. Did you also change the printhead PCB? and cable?

You also need to fit a new cleaning cartridge.
Did you purge the printhead before changing it?

a reply to both of you No and No with the new print head was a instruction sheet (and as a man i did read it first) i was suppossed to upgrade the firmware of printer then install printhead. problem is old print head is in an error state so the firmware tool wont let me upgrade so the new head is not be recognized??? now Decsion one ( the out of warranty service center in Canada doesn't work on this model>>>> no support at all now i am up the creek thanks for your reply's Terry
