If you don't do the upgrade step by step you will get errors. Also is the hard drive compatible will this machine?

Are you putting the machine in download mode. Also are selecting the correct interface setting in SST bi-centronics.

What version SST are you using. These machines work better with earlier versions, v3.21, v3.22, v3.35. Have you tried reinstalling SST?

If you do not know how to play with .ift file when formatting different kind of HDD you're unlucky.

Dude your all over the place.
Let me give you some advice. Its your second post and you are posting a thread in a Ir2200 post regarding a 3570 and you want to know how to tamper with the speed and meter count. Not a good way to start posting threads. We do not advocate fraud at copytechnet.

                          sst

i dont think a standard parallel cable will not work .. a specially designed cable (Nethawk) is required

                            quote from bnmand

"For those who don't know. The Nethawk cable is the only usb-to-parallel cable that works with SST and is very useful with old Canon copiers such as the IR3300 which don't have fixed IP. The only alternative is a IEEE1284 aka bi-directional parallel cable. As most, if not all laptops do not have parallel ports any more, a nethawk cable is very useful for those working regularly on copiers like the IR3300."
