    iR1023iF - Sys SW issue

I have the system software and sst. Actually used the book and uploaded the latest system software. Completed fine, no errors, finished writing to disk etc. Rebooted. All good EXCEPT SEND functions (Scan to file and E-mail) are gone????? Fax works, printer works etc.

Ok maybe my head is where the "sun don't shine" - but how do I get the SEND functions back? It does not appear to be like the Universal Send that is registered - so ???????

Only noticed 1 system software download from Canon for the 1023 series.

    ?????

Check and Verify that the PCL Version is Registered on the SST and the PCL MUST be Installed on Machine to Enable Send Feature.

Late getting back - but better late...

Apparently what it took was to flash the BOOT ROM - power cycle - flash SYSTEM - power cycle - flash PCL - power cycle.

The above worked - thanks to being pointed in the right direction by Screwtape. One note though, I also downloaded Canon TP09 85a. Following their directions ended in a NOGO. Needs to be system then pcl (at least for me).

So all is good with the universe. Thanks for the assist.

            Try CA key Clear

Try CA key clear in sm.
In some models that is in level 2.
