    Canon CLC 5000

A quick question / problem for any CLC 5000 techs.

My black screens in the ballpark of 35% or lower, go tan on me. I lose the actual gray look to it completely.

Ran a color chart test and it shows the same issue on the 40% and lower RGB grayscale.... however running in either RGB or CMYK still produces the tan color.

    Any idears ?

You need to change developer. Color CYM are needed to create gray. Have you tried doing a auto gradation and calibrating the fiery.

      Yeah,

I generally do an auto gradation scan each day if i've run alot of projects the previous, and calibration of the Fiery is something I generally have to go through once a week, sometimes more if I'm going to use an odd stock.

I have considered developer, and black is the only developer I haven't changed, (As I've done blades, sensors and other things for the other 3 colors.)

      So I will try that.

      - Thank you.
