    canon ir 5020

    This one is driving me nuts!

    Jams in doc feeder but only when scanning. I have sent hundreds through doc feeder in normal copy mode but when I use the scan(which is much slower) she will jam.

    I have updated the machine firmware, I have installed the doc feeder maintenance kit and it still will jam intermittently.

    Someone told me there was a bulletin on this but I have not seen anything. Any suggestions would help tremendously .

      Is the scanning going to ecopy or to something else? I had doc feeder issues with scanning to ecopy on an iRC3380, that I downgraded the color scangear from 2.0 to 1.5,,, and that resolved my feeder issues,,,, go figure?!?!

          scanning goes to microsoft scan they have with computer. It is a pull only here.

              The most truly is that the problem is that the pagesize in the program is wrong.
              Then the customer gets this problem...
              I guess that normal copy is OK.

              Jam code will help more...
