    Drum Phase on iR6870C

    Hi all,
Can anyone of you guys explain what is the photosensitive drum phase are for? Is it a must that we adjust the drum phase? if we don't adjust it, does it have any effect on the quality of the print?
I did go thru the service manual but couldn't really understand the explanation. Needed some guide from you expert out there.
    Thanks.

    Drum Phase

The reason of drumphase is just as simple as when you rotate the start position of the drum the starting point is changed and the drumlife will exeed.
And when you are doing a drumphase adj the new surface readings are adjusting hvt to load as mutch as the drum nedds to be loaded with to get an Crystal clear copy..

To enhance the effect please be sure to control the condition of the Primary Corona.

And keep filters in the back clean..This is werry important to the whole condition of the machine..
