    iR5000i - problem whit F1 finisher

    Greetings,

I have problem whit punch unit on F1 finisher.

When costumer copy A4 paper, sometimes it jams at punch unit. Paper passes the puncher bud then it stops. I watched and saw that paper hits left side coz puncher dosent adjust properly.
Costumer told me that they didnt use it much and if it's a problem he told me to remove it.

Problem is that i didnt instal puncher so i dont know reverse procedure. I dont se anything specific on this theme in SM of finisher or machin's SM.

Can someone please explain the procedure. I'm not shure do I only have to disconnect puncher from the housing and PCB or i must do software adjustment after disconnecting it?

    Any help would be APPRECIATED!

That sounds familiar. If I can remember you may not need to disconnect it. I think it was a simple answer. But if you do disconnect it I don't think there was any trick to it. Just take it off. I think there is a screw on the front and one on the back and a cable to connect it to the finisher. It has been a few years since Ive seen a punch unit on a 5000, but I don't think that is too far off.
Is the glass half full or half empty? I say neither. The glass is obviously full, full of potential. The potential to hold more water or the potential to quench a thirst. Life is all about how you see it.

I will try to remove it.

He have an adjustment but thats in milimetars. I think that wouldn't help me since i must shift it atleast over 1 cm for paper to pass puncher . I didnt say i wont try adj. ( the less electronic the lesser problem's u have and all will agree )

      thnx 20yr
