    canon IR1310 "please add toner"

    i got 2 ir1310 the display shows the message "please add toner " and dont let me do copies ... the developer units are ok no broken gears , the contacts of the machinne are ok , the toner cartridges are ok .... i suspect of the mainboard , is there any way to eliminate this message from the service mode

    please let me know

    Does the shutter open up in the developing ass'y? Check or Disassembled the Developing Assembly and check the shutter. Some time replacing the drum helps also.

      yes the shutter opens , the drum is brand new .... tomorrow i will check the dc controller
