Canon Imagerunner C3200 Support Tools & SST Software 2.1.2
She services them but they have other people who does the IT stuff, so she doesn't have that stuff.
Also she is doing it on the side...
It is a little clearer now,, doing things "on the side" does have some real limitations in this instance. I do not consider loading system software onto a copier to be an "IT" function. It is basic to a Canon service rep's job to perform that task. I might advise that you utilyze a properly trained rep to provide your service needs, and they will come prepared to perform any and all functions required to resolve your copier problem. And they will have all the needed tools and software in their possession.

Beleive it or not this company only lets what they call the It dept to do that. If it need something like what I need they call the other dept to do it... It's been like that for the last 8-10 years...

I have heard of that practice,, I assume it is a way to not have to provide laptops for every tech, as well as pay them less because they are "less skilled" if they don't have the responsibility of upgrading the system software. A poor business practice, as there would be too much overlap of personnel involved in the servicing of copiers in need of software maintenance, as well as delaying the repair of the copier while the guru's are waited for in response to the nomal techs request for assistance.
This is in no way written to disparage your techs rep,, just pointing out the inadequacies of that particular business practice.
Have a good day
