    Hi to all the readers,

I got a problem of my machine (iR5000) which is the finisher does not function but it has a power. In service mode sorter does not found. Yesterday its OK and i done 20,000 copies.

You can try to change the finisher dc board. But first check the finisher connector to the main machine it is fully connected.

if the above steps have been performed then try clear the dc-con. today i went to do ir3570 with inner-tray finisher. the tray and sorter didn't move and on screen appeared (limited functions) so i cleared the dc-con and off the limited funtion. power off and on.. wala!! solved.

Did you try the limited function restore before the DC-Con clear, and not have it be successful? Then try it after the DC-Con clear and that one worked?

i restored the limited function before clearing the dc-con. it failed so i performed the latter and fixed the problem.

is the connector disconnected or the connector pin defective?
