    IRC 3200 scanning issue

    Hi ,

    I connected successfull to the fiery .
    All is setup to scan/print on the copier.
    When I scan using adobe professional (3rd party tool to scan) or any other tool , the image is transferred to the computer , but the color n/w scan gear still says "scanning " and the copier's display says "scanning".

    It keeps me waiting , till I press the cancel button and save the image.

    This kills lot of time when multiple docs have to be scanned.


    Urgent help needed on this.

    Pull scan

    The pullscan option is not the best scanning option on the market.

    I think you can use adf for scanning and get it faster .
    Pullscan is blocking the mc when its in use.

    What are you trying to scan??
    Is it textdocuments or pictures?

    If it is text or something that can be compressed i would use the send funktion to mail or file / ftb / smb on the network.

    If you need higer quality change the compression setting in sendsettings in copier.

    If you need the full quality whitout the compressin the pullscan is the only way.

      you need to install Fiery Remote Scan. You can't use normal Color Network ScanGear anymore.
