    ir c3220 dark copy quality

    Hey all,

I just got an irc 3220 running after being in storage for awhile. I cleaned the optics and the copies were still a little lite so I ran a full gradation and the copies are really really dark now. I did a ccd adj and tried a quick gradation but the copies are still really dark. I don't have a lot of experience with these. I don't see anything in the sm that helps. the drums are only around 70 percent and nothing else is due to be changed. Anyone have any advice? TIA

      Things to try would be...
More than one Full Auto grad...cleaning the Salt sensor...removing the drums and give them a shake.....perform a single color test chart print and see if you can isolate it to one color...lastly try a new set of drums but turn off AINR in service mode first so that you don't blow the fuses on the drum units.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Unfortunately I will not be able to get back to the machine until the last week of the month. I will update you all after I try all your advice.
