Your mail aint going out !!! Double check your mail settings verify with IT. Change your DNS domain name the same as domain .Your mechine is not authenticating with mail server. This should do the trick

    Good luck

      Gerhard is right!!!!
This is the info about it

      # 801
A timeout error occurred while the machine was communicating with the SMTP
server to send an e-mail message or send/receive an I-fax.

      1. Check that the SMTP server is functioning normally.
      2. Check the network status.

      Or

The SMTP server returned an error while trying to connect. The destination is not
correct. An error occurred on the server side during transmission to a file server.

      1. Check that the SMTP server is functioning normally.
      2. Check the network status.
      3. Check the destination setting.
      4. Check the status and setting of the file server.

      OR

You are sending a file to a destination to which you have no write permission.

      Check the destination setting.

      OR
When the machine tried to send a file to the server, a file with the same name
already exists on the FTP server and that file cannot be overwritten.

Change the setting on the file server to enable the file to be overwritten.

      Or

When the machine tried to send a file to the server, either the folder name is
incorrectly specified or the password is incorrect.

      Check the destination setting.

      Something is wrong...

#801-This is a file transfer protocol error not a SMTP error.
#802-Is a SMTP error and its usually associated with incorrect
          credentials.

          Are using the correct protocol.

I just remembered a problem I had with a 710 fax install. New out of the box and it wouldn't send e-mail. The fix was putting in the ip address of the SMTP server instead of the actual name of the SMTP server in the send settings.
Their IT guy told me it had something to do with their using one server for DNS and SMTP as opposed to using two. Or just the opposite, I can't remember, but he knew right away what was wrong.
Anyway just another thing to try.

Ditto on the IP Address of the SMTP server. Make sure DHCP or auto is not on (reaks havoc on these machines). Check your DNS servers and name. Also, are you able to print to this machine or access the RUI of it? These machines are notorious for "losing" their Certificate. Go into service mode and check under Network then under Certificate. If you see somethings like "XA cert... blah blah" that is good, if it says, "Not Installed", do a Clear/CA-Key.
The glass maybe half full, but less is more...
Printer + Fax + Copier = Jack Of Many Trades,
              but Master Of None
Color Copier = Not A Color Printer
InkJet MFP = Not A Fax Machine
              B/W Copier = Not A Press
Finisher = Deal Closer (salesman, not accessory)
Copier Tech = Admin's Stress Ball (Scapegoat)
