    iR5000

    Hi to all.


    I received a text coming from my friend. He has an iR5000 with shows an error 350-3000. This error is not found in my error list. If anybody knows please give me an answer.

      e350 is the serial # board on the main controller.
      If he just replaced the main controller he probably just didn't transfer it off the old one. It's the little board on the riser with 1 screw.
      If this code just came up out of the blue you will need to call canon tech support on how to proceed.

          What do you mean by "code came out of the blue"? you mean error code display on screen which is blue color?

                      There's lots of phrases like out of the blue that are difficult to understand if you haven't heard them before e.g. a possible usage everything was working fine and out of the blue (i.e. suddenly, without changing anything) an error code came up.

                                          Yes it can come up out of the blue. The fix is either replacing Main Controller or Serial Board (requires Canon dealer).
                                          The glass maybe half full, but less is more...
                                          Printer + Fax + Copier = Jack Of Many Trades,
                                          but Master Of None
                                          Color Copier = Not A Color Printer
                                          InkJet MFP = Not A Fax Machine
                                          B/W Copier = Not A Press
                                          Finisher = Deal Closer (salesman, not accessory)
