So any reports of of network scangear working with Windows 7 yet? I have only heard one rumor and it was no-go. Seems it loaded ok (on 64-bit system) but scanner "not found" when trying to aquire.

I don't know. They haven't updated the software for a few years.
I wish they made a Mac version, but for some reason it looks like they can't be bothered. -
Some techs in the states are using vista print drivers, 32 bit or 64 bit with windows 7. Also some had installed and tried the scangear tools, color and black and white with windows 7.Comment

Don't think there is any official support for Windows 7 from Canon. However, Color Network ScanGear was just updated within the last few weeks.The glass maybe half full, but less is more...
