    IR 8500 Finisher K1

I am having some stapling issues on 2 k1 finishers, 1 staples but on long runs the staples slowly move off the page, and the second one it staples every other one. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are they any error codes in history that were finisher related. Make sure the stapler mount is clean.Check the slider blocks for the shifting. The other one check the stapler itself. There are a couple more things that can cause problems like this as well.

no error codes, the one finisher just staples every other one, stapler does not even cycle, and actually I have 2 finishers that will start stapling and after a while will staple right off the back of the page, any other ideas would be appreciated.

Sorry for the same reply but the original reply from 11-02-09 does not link to my profile statistics and I would like for it to. Since my original profile was screwed up, I lost all post linked to my profile.

My reply still remains the same. Check out what I mention before.

I have had to replace the wiring harness to the stapler for mis-stapling...the wires break because the stapler twists...clear all the ram
