Auto gradation limit - Ir C3220

Is there a way to limit the auto gradation on a Canon Ir C3220? Everytime it comes out of Engery Saver or after in comes out of sleep mode, it goes through this. Real frustrating when you need a copy right then. I have looked in the manual and have not found it yet. I know it is there.

    Thanks

      Usually this indicates bad drums.

Go to service mode, copier>option>body> INTROT1 and INTROT2 ( sets the execution interval ( number of sheets) for auto gradation).
Copier>option>INTROT-T ( sets the execution (time) for gradation).
        Adjust the value higher.
        Copier>option>AUTO-DH ( on/off the gradation) (0ff) (1n).
If 0(off) is entered, you have to monitor the output image to determine when to execute the following item in the user mode: Adjustment/cleaning > automatic gradation compensation (full compensation). But it is not recommended to off the auto gradation.
