    Dear all friends'

Most of our senior ( 2 -3 years old or passes 2- 3 lakhs copies) ir 3300s facing a common problem ie. pick up failure frequently from stack bypass . I had cleaned the pick roller and someone replaced but the problem not solved. Some times it work proper and after some time the same fault. What is the permanant solution for these type of complaints.....

I have not seen many problems but the one I have seen is the black lever (FB6-2786-000) falls off, which lowers the tray with the little cork piece on it. When they go to load paper the tray is up and paper does not go far enough in for the feed rollers to get a good grip.
When the tray is up it trips the paper detect sensor, which also causes jams. It tries to feed from the bypass and there is not any paper there. The lever is on the part of the right door that opens and is toward the rear as you face copier. It rides against the cam that sticks out on a little shaft near where the bypass gets its drive.
