I have to make a leap of faith on this one, the gp335 is similiar to the iR330. The scanning lamp is what is causing the issue. It does not appear to be bright enough.

    - Check for bad lamp.
    - The intensity sensor has a fault.
    - The CCD PCB has a fault.
    - The composite power supply PCB has a fault.
    - The DC controller PCB has a fault.

      Mrfixit is spotton !!!

The Gp335 uses a flourecent scanning lamp. Check the end of the lamp for discolouration (black rings). If so replace !!!

PS: its good to now the old timers are still around!!!!
