    iR C3220 network settings

    new batch of iRC3220 machines in our workshop:

    question is:
    how to setup the network setting if the network setting is like this?

    network settings
    -> TCP/IP settings
    -> SNTP settings
    -> use PASV mode for FTP

    I'm only familiar with the

    network settings
    -> TCP/IP settings
    -> IP address
    -> subnet mask
    -> Gateway address

    what's the difference between the two? hope someone can kindly explain.
    thanks!

    Change the interface value in service mode, Copier/option/int-face/img-cont-0- Reboot.

      thanks screwtape!

      the settings are now back to normal mode

      I've read on some of the post about the imagepass controller (box at the back of the machine) anybody out there with a manual on how to configure this imagepass controller?

      thanks!

        Changing the interface value is the first place to start.
        It was set to 3, I assume.. Putting it back to 3 will set the communication between the copier and fiery. Connect the fiery via crossover to the machine, connect the fiery to the network via Ethernet cable. Then you configure the fiery. Run set up. Mostly you would be only configuring the network settings. Pretty simple.
