    IR Advance Range

    Hi Guys

    Have you guys worked on the IR advance range. We in Africa will only see them mid to the end of 2010. What if any similarities are their compared to old range.

      I did a training course on them back in September. The machine is a lot more sturdy than previous Canons but also a lot heavier.

      A lot of effort has been put into Canons service mode, if a Tech isn't sure of what something does there's a little green information button that displays an explanation.



      There's a feature that isn't enabled by default since its only going to be needed in high security environments and isnt available on Chinese models altogether. This is a Trusted Platform Module that encrypts documents stored on the copiers hard drive so they can only be accessed from the copier they were created on. From what was said on the training course this works very much like Pgp
