IR 7105 Image shift

I have a IR 7105 with a strage problem. If you make regulat copies (any size) the registration is perfect. When you try to punch (internal punch) or staple a set or sheet the reg is OK. If you do two or more the image shifts about 1/4 of an inch. So far we have flashed the machine and finisher, replace dc controller and finisher controller, both clutches on reg unit. Any ideas?

This is a strange one...

If you make mulitple sets with finisher removed from copier, does the registration stay on track?

The only time the image is off is when stapling or punching more than one set. Since we couldnt staple or punch without the finisher we havent removed it. We are going to try the main controller next. Thanks.
