    IR4570 display flickering

    Hi guys
Have a flickering display on 4570 and when it does flicker you get no response from the ikons on the display. I would try ordering a new display but they are so expensive Any ideas please?

Try reseating connectors if and when you try removing it.
Sometimes it is what it is.

      Hi all
Turned out to be DC Controller but having replaced that it has changed the meter reading from 16k to 684k which i don't understand. Any ideas.

Did you swap out the DC Controller or the Main? The counter board is mounted on the Main Controller.

If you changed the DC controller you would have no need to change the counter as it plugs into the main controller. As far as I know if you take the counter from one machine and place it in another the machine becomes unusable and gives a 354 error which cannot be cleared.

As I stated in my previous question to you,,, the counter board resides on the Main Controller. Changing the DC Controller does not require you to touch the Counter Board. Why would you swap the counter board??? What were you hoping to do by doing so?

mrfixit51 i'm aware the counter pcb resides on the main controller, i obviously didn't make myself very clear. The only reason i swapped the counter pcb over was because when i replaced the dc controller thats when the reading changed and i couldn't understand why.

Changing only DC controller board and not removing/replacing the counter board it would not change the counter. I did it many times and not happening on my machine.
