i;m a Canon tech needing help with a minolta ep1083.
How 2 removed drum from copier?
I'm a KM/Ricoh tech and I have trouble figuring out the Canons.
Most of the older midrange minolta have a drum/developer section that slides out after loosening two screws and either dropping the transport deck or raising the upper half of the copier unit.
In this case, open front cover, raise unit and note the drum/developer assy. There is a black captive screw on the lower left and lower right corners of the developing unit. Loosen the two screws. The whole assembly will now slide out.
I Will Try What you suggeted. Canon is a easy box, i was a Toshiba/Ricoh tech
