my costumer have a irc1021i ,and i wanted to install scanner by network ,scangear tool is installed but by SMB protocol it doesn t work can it work with the XP HOME EDITON.

you dont need to install scanner.On your PC create a share folder and on your copier go to "scan to directory"enter username and password and find your folder.Also you must use SMB protocol.For network send you dont need
scangear tool.

yes,but do you now if with the xp home edition it works,because i did what you said and didn t work,because in the properties of the folder it doesn t appears the security and i cant give full controll to everyone.it give always the same error #753 (it doesn t if the folder or the computer).
