    Ir 105 Wait....

    I am having a 105 which is giving me wait.. and the status bar has moved only half the distance. I have changed the Boot ROM, RAM, Hard Disk.no change .When i interchange the MFC with another machine the problem migrates.
    I tried to do a firmware update but got Error 105 ECP port failure .

    I have given the MFC for repair , still I'd like to know what going wrong . will help me to keep my costs down in the future.

      You need to check in the ir105 manual for the boot sequence to try to trouble shoot where the issue might be.

          Sounds like the main controller has gone bad.The CPU on the main controller reads the system software from the HDD and writes it to the SDRAM.
